Happy Birthday, Rowen!
Rowen is one year old today! Yay!
Unfortunately, she'll have to wait for her birthday celebration because I'm still feeling ucky from a bad back and possibly toxic levels of ibuprofen.

I remember my dog's first birthday, back when I was 9. We gave her a yellow Hostess cupcake with a candle in it, then blew it out for her.
Thanks! Rowen and I were supposed to go to a Paw Print party tonight at the pet store, but I don't think wrangling her is going to be the best thing for my back. She did get to go to the groomer this weekend, though. And I got stocked up on treats and a new toy for her. She's hard to shop for because there are so few things that she can't and won't destroy and then eat.

So how cool is my dog? I burped (those darn Sonic tots again) and Rowen looks up at me, pauses, and burps right back at me.
